 The Outlet Fitting is located in the filter at the opposite end of Inlet Fitting. It includes the nut, an O-ring and the outlet connector. Always install the O-ring on the inside of the filter tank. The outlet connector has two internal pipe sizes. PUt your finger inside the outlet connector and you will feel both sizes. The first pipe size is a European fit. The next pipe size is U.S. PVC SCH 40 1.5". Insert 1.5" sch 40 PVC pipe all the way into the outlet connector until it stops and then push and twist real hard and it will lock in. This is a compression fit so you do not need glue.
