 Matala offers a 9" membrane air diffuser assembly that features a hollow base that can be filled with sand or gravel. This eliminates the need for bricks and straps to get the diffuser to sink.  This Matala Air Base is a single weighted base with a 12 inch rubber membrane air disc. The base should be filled with sand and gravel to stabilize the unit on bottom of the pond.
The 12 inch Air Disc can handle air flows between 1.0 cfm to 7.0 cfm.

It is the same as the MDB11 but has a riser pipe which extends the 9 inch air disc above the mud.

 This Matala Air Base is a double weighted base with four 9 inch Air Discs. This Base can be used for lakes with muddy bottoms greater than 3 inches of mud. The Air Discs are held up out of the mud with a riser pipe.
Use this four disc diffuser for Hakko 120L or for one of our Lake Aeration Rocking Piston Compressors.
